France 98 and the Za–Sa partnership — Iván Zamorano and Marcelo Salas leading Chile’s first World Cup since 1982. Salas scored four times, three group draws were enough to reach the last sixteen, and the run ended against the Brazil of Ronaldo and Rivaldo.
