Third kits are made in far smaller runs than home or away, and are usually the season's most adventurous design because they carry the least expectation.

The white shirt with black trim, worn by the club named after the Mapuche chief Colo Colo and record champions of Chile. In 1991 they became — and remain — the only Chilean club to win the Copa Libertadores, playing out of the Estadio Monumental in Santiago. The sponsor is often the quicker dating tool: Cerveza Cristal held the front of the shirt for over two decades, from 1993 to 2014, followed by DirecTV, MG, Pilsen del Sur, Coolbet and JugaBet.
