Fortaleza Esporte Clube competed in their sixth consecutive season in the top division during 2024, which marked the 106th season in the club's history. The campaign saw them participate in four competitions: the Série A, the Campeonato Cearense, the Copa Sudamericana and the Copa do Brasil. They also featured in the Copa do Nordeste, progressing through the group stage to reach the finals of that tournament.
