Dundalk release limited-edition centenary jersey with Macron
The League of Ireland club mark 100 years since their first senior match with a white pinstriped commemorative shirt.
Dundalk Football Club and Macron have released a limited-edition centenary jersey commemorating a century since the club played their first senior match in the League of Ireland, then known as the Free State League. The commemorative design arrives as a long-sleeved shirt with white as the base colour and narrow vertical pinstripes running across the body and sleeves, with Ireland shirts manufacturer Macron producing the limited run.
White pinstripes and black detailing define the Ireland kit
The new Dundalk jersey is presented with a traditional fold-over polo collar in black, accompanied by a short buttoned placket and matching black cuffs. Dundalk's red, white and black club crest is positioned on the left side of the chest, with a small star placed above it. The Macron logo appears opposite in a tonal metallic finish, keeping the front of the shirt free from a main sponsor graphic. The pinstripe pattern provides a classic aesthetic across the white base, while the black trim offers contrast at the collar and sleeve openings, a similar approach to the Ireland 2025 home shirt, which also featured tonal detailing.
Anniversary label documents League of Ireland honours
A special black anniversary label is incorporated near the lower section of the jersey, carrying the dates associated with Dundalk's League of Ireland history alongside prominent 100 Years lettering. The detail includes a selection of trophy illustrations documenting honours achieved by the club during that period, providing a visual record of the club's success across the century since their first match in the Free State League.
