Home, away and third kits, around half of them retro, all listed by season. Royal blue with white trim — Königsblau, the colour that names the club's own identity. Schalke grew out of the Gelsenkirchen coalfields, hence the miners' nickname Die Knappen, and won seven German championships, six of them between 1934 and 1942, plus five DFB-Pokals and the 1997 UEFA Cup. The kit itself is unusually easy to place.
